Volunteer and Join in on the Fun!

Volunteer with the Asociación de Artes and have a great time while doing something really good!  We are a true Mexican Non-Profit organization founded in 1992, and since then we have provided school supplies to 20 area schools, Saturday art classes, financial support for both ‘Cursos de Verano’ summer program and Easter sports tournaments and baseball camps for the youth of communities in the surrounding areas. We also produce, the great East Capers Magazine 4 times a year, 2 art shows, one in December and one the Sunday before Easter and an artist studio tour. The printing of our East Capers Magazine also helps support Ciudad Los Niño’s orphanage in La Paz

 We have volunteers with talents and skills from all areas – everything from artistic abilities to facilities and set-up and with all physical capabilities. We do not require a huge commitment of time, and you don’t need to live here full time, or even ½ time. We have volunteers that come only for a few weeks each year, and everyone, no matter how long or short you stay, can participate, support our projects and have fun while doing so.

  We ask you to join Asociacion de Artes to help continue the mission we have with supporting the arts and sports for the youth of the East Cape and providing opportunities for artisans to share their works. .
 

The biggest reason to join is the fun we have with all we do! We work hard to see that we have fun, laugh and enjoy the programs we do. And we all enjoy the satisfying feeling of knowing that what we have done, we have made a difference in a child’s life.
