This is really big news! Festival de Artes is moving to La Ribera! At the beautiful community plaza at the municipal building!
We are ready for a really HUGE festival this time in La Ribera, marking the 30th anniversary of Festival de Artes! 30 years is a really long time for a continuously ran event and we are up to the task of making it a really special event! Our new location offers new opportunities and new attractions! We are expanding the bar with Craft Beer on site and wines from Rancho La Venta and all the regulars. Our bar is a fund raiser for the Asociacion, so we say drink up! Watch the site as we confirm the additions and attraction to the 2025 event of the season - Festival de Artes!!!
Festival de Artes offers traditional entertainment, great food vendors, fantastic artians, an expanded beer garden with plenty of bartenders and so much more was enjoyed by all. Folks can browse through the rows of around the selected guest artists with original art mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, fabric, pottery, wood, metal, concrete and glass. Enjoy the creations of artists with fabric, flowers, silver, gold and precious stones in designs like no other. We have gone back to our roots with more original art, different mediums and more quality. We select our artists to ensure that our artists design and create their original works so that you know you are getting an original hand-crafted piece directly from artist to you! You will also have the opportunity to see traditional Mexican art and some exciting opportunities for new things to do and see! We will also be having our raffle and silent auction and our team is going above and beyond to ensure that we have the greatest possible items available! Get some great things, and help us raise funds to continue our mission!
The smells coming from the Food Court will tantalize you with the delicious food with a new emphasis on up scaling and increasing the variety of our food court. We have several great restaurants from the area providing us with the best possible food. We will be offering new restaurants selling their specialties along with our favorites like San Antonio Pizza, Mango Bakery, Seth Pandera, Sausage Ladies to name a few. The ice will be crackling with all your favorite cold beverages from our new and improved bar that is second to none! This year featuring Pacific Brew serving craft beers and Rancho LaVenta wines!! And yes, we will have plenty of bartenders!!!
While you are taking a break with your food and cold drink, you will be entertained with traditional folkloric Mexican dancing from the different dance troupes of La Paz and San Jose del Cabo. We will even have some entertainment from the children of the La Ribera schools! The entertainment will be every 20 minutes starting at 10:00. We have also stepped up our game with our raffle and silent auction. You will be able to bid on a variety experiences including: fishing trips, hotel stays in Todo Santos, Los Barriles, La Paz & Cabo Pulmo, guided tours, quad rentals, Multi-day Expeditions, whale watching, jewelry, paintings, shopping trips, dinner packages and our stuffed raffle baskets – and that is just to start. Become a vendor and be part of one of the largest and longest continually running Art Festivals in the Baja Sur! Always held the 3rd Sunday of March always brings guests to town from all over the Baja.
To be in the artist section, you must make 90% of what you are selling. A photo of your work must be included to qualify for the Artists selling area You will not receive an application until you have been accepted.
